Have you ever have one of those movies that you'd watch as a child that wasn't actually good, but you loved it anyway?
When my sister and I were little, there were a few movies that we would watch over and over (and over). Whether it was The Princess and the Goblin (me), or Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (Haley), every time we visited Video Palace we'd beg my dad to rent one (or both. Usually both).
Our insistence on watching the same movie roughly a million times eventually affected my dad so much that he made a new movie rule: When we went to the video store, he got to choose the movie.

There’s nothing like a great night with friends. One of those nights where you look at the people around you and think: Yes. This. We are 100% going to remember this night when we are 80 and sitting in our homes surrounded by cats (just me?).
Then there are the nights when no one can decide what to do and you end up having impromptu dance parties to classic jams like “Shake Yo Tailfeather,” and “Total Eclipse of the Heart,” which is more along the lines of the kinds of night that comes to mind when drinking the Hey Mambo 2012 “Sultry Red” blend.

Hello and welcome to our inaugural White Wine Wednesday post! Since there are quite a few people in the world who aren't red wine drinkers, we decided to dedicate one day a week to celebrating what's best about white wines. On our radar this week is the Caliza “Kissin' Cousins,” (scandalous, I know!) which I discovered a few years ago when I was working at winery on the Central Coast. For me, the perfect white is something that has a little bit of stone fruit flavor (aka peach and apricot, aka fruits with stones in the middle), and bonus points if it’s got some honey flavors. This one covers all the bases.
